Kitchen Aid Mixer - Audra's pick
When Jordan and I got married, almost 18 years ago, we received a beautiful silver and black stand up mixer as a wedding gift. I used it for years and loved how it worked, but a couple of years ago it began to wear out. I resorted to an old hand held mixer that I had on hand as a back up. I decided that I liked less clutter on my kitchen cabinets and continued to use the hand held mixer. Now, a few years later, my little hand mixer is wearing out as well. My mom noticed over Thanksgiving and called dibs on getting me one for Christmas!
Trim Healthy Mama's Trim Healthy Table - Laura's pick
Although I don't follow the Trim Healthy Mama plan exactly, I am taking baby steps to try to improve our meals at home. I am really excited to have this cookbook on my list this year! I know it will make meal time so much easier knowing every recipe includes only the best ingredients. Zevia and Lily's Chocolate would also make great gifts too!
Ninja Blender - Rebecca's pick
Okay, I must confess...I talked my man into giving me my present early. But, it’s so amazing and totally worth not having a present under the tree! I’m a staunch follower of Trim Healthy Mama. And, if you know anything about the plan, you’ll know that the blender is your best friend (Laura, you may need to add one to your list, lol). I use it so much that I wore my last Ninja out! I couldn’t stand the thought of waiting until Christmas for a new one. So, I begged and pleaded, and, wow, did my man deliver! He purchased another Ninja blender BUT he got the one with the cup attachments. I really didn’t think I’d need these extra parts and didn’t think I’d use them. Oh, how wrong I was! They are SO convenient and super easy to clean!! No more cleaning the big pitcher every time! And, it whips my shakes up in less than 10 seconds. It’s that fast!
Deluxe 221B Baker Street Board Game - Tammy's pick
We love games and usually get a couple of new ones each Christmas. Last year's favorite was Pandemic, although Mille Bournes was a close second. This year, I think 221B Baker Street will be the favorite. It came across my radar last month and has 2 things we love, Sherlock Holmes and a similarity to Clue. It comes with 200 cases so the game should keep us engaged until next Christmas! Now if I could only find the cool hat to go with it...
Hola Bondi 5 - Boo's pick
As I was lacing up my running shoes I thought "I sure wish I had a lifetime supply of my favorite running shoe!" lol or just an extra pair before the style changes this year because happy feet are important!
